Welcome to the SurfStats SampleShop. This is a fictitious shop created to show the eCommerce capabilities of SurfStats Log Analyzer and SurfStatsLive eCommerce Edition and how it can help you to determine and optimize the ROI of your marketing efforts.

What does the SampleShop demonstrate? The SampleShop shows how orders transactions are logged and processed by SurfStatsLive. Typically eCommerce sites will have some kind of a shopping cart system implemented where the customer selects one or more products or services, selects and specify shipping options and details and then pay for the products or services. SurfStatsLive picks up details from a completed transaction and ties it up with the original referral source. Processing by SurfStats Log Analyzer is similar.

Which shopping carts are supported? Theoretically you can adapt any shopping cart with minimal effort to log transactions which the SurfStats products see as eCommerce transactions. The SampleShop uses the VPASP cart. Note that the VP-ASP was created with ASP code only.Other shopping carts may use server side components in the cart, but still it should be relatively easy to add the SurfStats eCommerce logging.

How do I view a demo? Perform one or more transactions by selecting products using the cart and paying for it in the SampleShop. The details you provide are not validated so you can provide fictitious information. Click the Shop link to start. Once you have created an order it will take a few minutes before SurfStatsLive will process the logged transactions.
